The Model EWP Washing Press is a spiral press used to wash organic, dissolvable material out of coarse or fine screenings. The Model EWP Press utilizes an independent thrust bearing between the screw and the gear box, which prevents the screw from resting on the wedge wire, and allows for material to be conveyed up to 40 feet or more, including around corners. This thrust bearing protects the drive assembly from the loads imposed by the screw, and minimizes wear and tear on the washer components. |
